Observe Nature Educators release Monarchs at 12pm and 3pm. Join Nature Educators to discover the beauty and incredibly unique qualities of butterflies, moths and caterpillars! Flutter around and enjoy games, sweep netting, the caterpillar enclosure, migration station, play in Grasshopper Grove, and a craft. Pre-registration closes at 3pm on Friday 9/9 Not- yet-Members: $12 per person ages 3 and up When purchasing a ticket, you will also be reserving a half hour time slot during which you will have several minutes to enter and enjoy the Butterfly Tent at 10:00am, 10:30am, 11:00am, 1:30pm, 2:00pm and 2:30pmĪdmission: HHNM Members: $8 per person ages 3 and up Please note: Only children (ages 4-12) will be fishing during this program however adult supervision is required! Children under 4 are invited to observe along with the angler’s grown-ups.
(We recommend a rod taller than your child with a push button reel similar to a Zebco 202.) The Nature Museum will provide the bait, so dust off your rod and reel and let’s get hooked on fishing! We will be using bobbers and worms only.

Adults attending must purchase an adult ticket in addition to a Child’s (4-14) fishing ticket **Ĭhildren will learn the skills of fishing or enhance their abilities to land a whopper! There will be a short lesson on fish anatomy plus safe and proper casting/ landing techniques. **Adult supervision is REQUIRED- this is not a drop-off program.
